UNIFI ZM Sinazongwe Branch Manager, Ms. Fair Syamunsila, paid a courtesy call on the Council Secretary, Ms. Choolwe Maunga, to discuss the range of financial services offered by Unifi ZM.
During the meeting, Branch Manager Ms. Fair Syamunsila highlighted the company’s commitment to promoting access to affordable financial products, including loans, savings solutions, and other financial support services aimed at empowering individuals and small businesses within the community.
The Council Secretary welcomed the engagement and emphasized the importance of financial literacy in ensuring that community members can responsibly access and manage financial resources.
Ms. Maunga further stated that UNIFI should consider incorporating structured financial literacy programs for the community, particularly those who are involved in different forms of trade, including those who seek to acquire Grants and Loans from the Council under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Ms. Maunga added that such initiatives would help beneficiaries better understand financial management, loan obligations, budgeting, and the sustainable use of funds, thereby improving the impact and success of CDF-supported projects.
Ms. Maunga and UNIFI ZM Branch Manager Ms. Fair Syamunsila expressed interest in continued collaboration, with a shared goal of strengthening financial inclusion, enhancing financial awareness, and supporting socio-economic development within the constituency.
